Once I installed windows 7 it wouldn't connect to the internet because the Windows 7 CD for some reason didn't Install my network drivers, thus disallowing me from connecting to the internet (Wireless & Hardwire didn't work). I Found the CD for Windows 7 (that came with my laptop), so figuring I could downgrade to windows 7 with this CD thinking it would restore my Alienware software too (because it was an Alienware Windows CD) and then upgrading to Windows 8Īgain with all my alien software intact. which is why I'm now here.
